Tracy A. Robb

Appellate Counsel

Tracy Robb is a highly respected appellate attorney, strategist, and law firm leader who divides her time between her role as Managing Partner at Curcio Law Offices and her work as an appellate attorney, attorney mentor, and operations consultant for Curcio Casciato Law Offices.

She is widely recognized for her exceptional analytical ability, persuasive legal writing, and steady leadership in both litigation strategy and firm operations. Ms. Robb joined Curcio Law Offices in 2001 and was named Managing Partner in 2016.

Her legal practice is devoted primarily to appellate advocacy, where she has successfully defended numerous plaintiff verdicts challenged by defense firms and insurance carriers at both the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court levels. She has also secured reversals in cases involving trial error, demonstrating a deep command of appellate standards, preservation issues, and record-based advocacy.

Beyond her appellate work, Ms. Robb is a key strategic resource for trial teams. She is frequently consulted during active litigation to assist with high-level legal analysis, briefing strategy, and motion practice. Her research and writing have formed the foundation for many successful dispositive motions and motions in limine, including rulings that have excluded critical defense evidence and expert testimony—often altering the course of trial before a jury is ever seated. She is known throughout the legal community for her incisive reasoning, clarity of thought, and articulate, precise writing style.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Robb served as a Hearing Officer for the Office of the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where she presided over matters involving parentage, child support, custody, and visitation disputes. She also sharpened her appellate skills as a Law Clerk to an Illinois Appellate Court Justice, where she conducted legal research and assisted in drafting judicial opinions—experience that continues to inform her appellate advocacy today.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Robb plays a central role in law firm leadership and operations. Drawing on her strong analytical mindset and accounting background, she directs and advises on business management, financial oversight, and operational efficiency.

In her consulting and mentoring role with Curcio Casciato Law Offices, she works closely with attorneys and leadership to develop systems, improve workflow, and strengthen firm culture.

Ms. Robb is deeply committed to the legal profession and has been an active leader within the Illinois legal community. She served for a decade on the Illinois Supreme Court’s Committee on Character and Fitness from 2006 to 2016. Her peers have consistently recognized her excellence, naming her a Leading Lawyer and a Super Lawyer.
